Google gives specific user location data to feds [FORBES]

In an unprecedented case, the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF) asked Google for the records of user devices within a set of locations (known as a ‘geofence request’). Complying with the request, Google provided the ATF with 1,500 devices locations, prompting privacy concerns.
