Google is sued for tracking users browsing in Incognito Mode

Via CNET

The US District Court for the Northern District of California has filed a lawsuit against Google for violating wiretap and privacy laws and collecting communications and tracking users even when they’re using Incognito mode or other forms of private browser modes that are supposed to limit tracking.

The filed complaint details how Google collects data via Google Analytics, Google Ad Manager, apps, and other plug-ins found in sites.

Google will fight the lawsuit and claims that they have always communicated that incognito mode stopped activity from being saved on your device, not that it would stop sites from collecting your data.
